Booked on a Premier Cruise.

So I just realized I was booked on Premier Cruise. I get casino Premier Cruise offers all the time but usually just throw them away because they are never when I want to go. Is there anyway I can call Carnival and get the Premier benefits? Even though I didn’t book it with the Premier offer? I don’t care about reduced price of cabin. Just the other benefits.

Thanks in advance

I'm doing the May 5th premier. I'm not sure if you are on that one or the next one. The date to get the premier offer is past. There is a cut off date and also a limit of rooms available for premier. It never hurts to check but I think the answer will be no.

For most cruises and cabin types, calling the casino desk may get you switched from a regular fare to the casino rate, along with the extra casino perks. It depends on whether they have filled their quota for your sail date and cabin type. One can also lose their chosen cabin or any OBC by accepting a switch to the casino fare, but that is offset by the perks you then receive.

We have a spa balcony booked on the Horizon this May, and several months ago, I heard casino fares were being offered for that date. I've already sailed at least a 1/2 dozen premier cruises, so I thought it would be easy to switch. But despite several calls to both the casino desk and Carnival Diamond desk, I was unable to get a casino fare and keep the spa balcony.

I was told for this cruise date, spa balconies weren't included in the casino promotion. I responded that on other ships they were, but was told this cruise, nope. They offered a regular balcony cabin casino fare but we were reluctant to lose the spa balcony, so we stayed put.

Back in October I booked the Pride for Feb. 4th online. A few days later I got a Premier offer and Feb. 4th was one of the sailings.

I called Carnival and there was no problem. The rep switched it right over. No charges or fees and I kept the same balcony that I booked.

I went on the Premier and got a discounted casino offer for a future cruise. Last week I booked March 4th on the Pride which is also a Premier cruise but was told I wasn't eligible to sail as a Premier guest since the offer expired in December.

Oh well, it's still an "almost" free cruise and I have Drinks on Us from the Feb. sailing. The only thing missing will be the Free Cash. The gifts they gave out were nice but I certainly don't need duplicates...LOL
