Embassy Suites FLL

Hi

We are arriving in FLL on a Friday and sailing out of POM on Sunday. I have two questions....

Are there any restaurants in walking distance to Embassy Suites were we can watch the cruise ships come and go on Saturday?

And how was traveling from Embassy Suites to POM? Any problems? Or any hints?

There are plenty of places to eat close by,but not with a port view. Most people use a shuttle called SASRIDESHARE for about $15 P.P. or QLS Shuttle. I would call the shuttles before you book the hotel to make sure they service that hotel. I have never had a problem with SAS and have used them 3-4 times. http://www.ridesas.com/

UberX from FLL area to POM will be about $35 - straight to the ship with no stops for other passengers.;)

We Ubered from the POM to embassy suites and it cost us $40 including a tip [emoji6] embassy shuttle to the airport is $9 per person so suggest taking Uber from Embassy Suites to the airport which is only a mile away

The fare estimator on the Uber websites says Embassy Suites to Port Everglades Uber X $5-7 and Uber XL $8-9
