Welcome aboard gifts

Does anyone know what size the cakes are that can be ordered for your stateroom in advance of the cruise? The web site has pictures but no info as to size or how many it will serve. The price is $29.

I would not bother. There have been several reports that the Welcome Aboard gifts are not what the purchaser expected them to be, but more importantly, that they were not in the stateroom for "Welcome Aboard" -- that is, they arrived later that day, or even the next day. It might seem like a fun idea to have a cake waiting in the stateroom when you open the door, but there's a very good chance it won't be there in time.

We have ordered gifts to be aboard sailing for friends who sailed with us.

Turned out the gift was there day two (2) which was fine by us, not optimal by any means but our friends were surprized by getting them regardless.

Your choice as to rather up to a day later arrival is acceptable or not.
