Time of shows

One of the big complaints on the Regatta with just one show at 9:30 is there is nothing to do if you finish dinner early. There is quite the lull in the evening. The entertainment on the front end of the 24 nighter was good, I didn't care for the last half. And 2 of the 4 entertainment staff lost their voice and/or were sick for the second half of the cruise.

If you go back to your cabin, you may just not come back out. We wished there was a piano sing a long, or karoke, or even a good trivia at 8ish. On 2 nights of 24, I believe they did a brain teaser at 8:30. But for the most part, drink or hit the casino if you wanted something to do before the show.

Did they not have the string quartet 630 to 9pm or the piano player in Martinis?

Maybe let me correct myself, nothing fun to do.

Yes, the string quartet played from 5:45-6:15; 7-7:45; and 8:30-9:15. Claude the most boring piano player (we all agreed) played 5-5:45; 6:15-7; then not again until 10:15-11. We had wished he would sing which he did not and/or never offered a sing along. He tried singing once, but said he was very uncomfortable singing. ugh

it was a very odd cruise as far as entertainment with many being sick. The Regatta band was really good and its lead was awesome on the sax, but because the cruiseline wants the lead to sing, our band leader Trevor decided to sing but he couldn't sing a note. We'd go up to horizons each night hoping Crystal, Daniel and even the cruise Director Shawn would be singing which often they would go up there; but once Trevor started singing the place would empty for the few of us who showed up.

Most paassengers went to bed after the show.
