3DBeach Posted January 4, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2015 I would love to see a restaurant similar to the Melting Pot on a ship. What's a restaurant idea/theme you all would like to see? Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app

DonnaK Posted January 5, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 5, 2015 Wow, with open flames? I thought that practice was stopped on ships long ago. :o I use an electric fondue pot at home. No flames. Perhaps that's what they use on the ship?

I thought that practice was stopped on ships long ago. :o Some Asian places will serve the pot on a tea light with some fuel. SwissDave Posted January 5, 2015 #7 Share Posted January 5, 2015 It is not every night, and I haven't had one yet & summer is not really the right time as traditionally it's a winter dish. I have several per year where I live, all between November and April. From Princess website: Fondues – A variety of cheese fondues highlight this special experience, including classic Swiss with white wine, German cheddar fondue with beer, and a French cheese fondue with champagne. Other Swiss, German or Austrian specialties round out the menu. Cover charge: $
