Asking for a friend, does the single supplement depend upon the itinerary? Or is it basically the same rate on all itineraries?

Yes , your correct it can vary according to many factors, class of cabin, length of cruise, how well the cruise is selling.. I have seen 125% 150% and 175% in years past. Your travel agent can keep a look out for you.

Generally, they give the discount supplement., from my experience, to people who book a" veranda class "of higher cabin. So in the final analysis it might be cheaper, overall, to book an in expensive inside and pay 100% on a much lower fare.
