Eaches Posted November 17, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 17, 2017 Does anyone have any favourite place to be on sail away? Why? Mia Why leave your cabin - you have a veranda at your fingertips- or you can go out to the deck in front of the Explorers lounge . Have a wonderful cruise ! Rare Azulann Posted November 17, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 17, 2017 I always like to be at the aft of the ship at sailaway on my crusies. So for my first Viking Sailaway , I hope to be near the infinity pool, with a glass of champagne in hand. Being at the aft, one gets a larger view of leaving the harbor into the open waters. The view is the port you are leaving and not the open sea ahead. A quieter place (and perhaps less known is the promenade on deck 2).

We usually do non-Viking sail aways on our balcony/veranda, but this sounds perfect! I think we will do the same. Watching San Juan fade into the sunset!
