Duty free

We are going to the Canaries soon. We don’t want to trail around the shops. Can we buy duty free goods in one of the cruise terminals or should we just buy on the ship?

If visiting Gran Canaria, and a cheap cheap shopper visit the Hiper Dino Supermarket in the shopping mall just outside the port area.

Gin below €5 per litre

White Rum below €6 per litre

Lager below €0.80 per litre

Better quality is also available

You don't say which line you are on, but remember that most lines will not let you take alcohol on board. It will be confiscated and returned to you at the end of the cruise.

Also note that,on P&O at least, any alcohol bought in the Duty Free shop on board will also be held until near the end of the cruise.
