Carry on luggage

what is the maximum size case you can take on as hand luggage on a P and O cruise from Southampton ?

As I cannot carry a bag my hubby has to carry one case.

Ours is 50cm x 36cm x 25 cm

Size is determined by if the case can go through the security scanner.

These are around the same size as airport hand luggage scanners so you should be fine.

I hope you enjoy your cruise.

I've just measured the small wheeled case we've taken from S'ton...roughly, because it's way up on a shelf, filled with evening wear.. :)

51cm x22cm x30cm.

Otherwise, can he manage a back pack? So long as you have your valuables, plus medication and a few immediate items., you won't need much else until your cases arrive at the cabin...it's not as if you'll be wanting to swim, unless the temperatures stay like today!

A back pack is ideal , thanks

We usually take both, because we have to spend a night in S'ton, so need overnight stuff, and my wheeled case has always fitted through the scanner, as has his back pack.
