Cruising with Us Posted April 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2017 Can anyone tell me why the LIS costs less than an IS? Thanks!
Rare SpainAlien Posted April 1, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 1, 2017 I stayed in the little one, it is tiny. The bed is butted up against the wall at one side. There is a chair instead of a settee and you have to keep moving it to get into the wardrobe. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Clarea Posted April 1, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 1, 2017 Supply and demand is the usual reason.
cb at sea Posted April 1, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 1, 2017 The inside's range from 149 sq. ft, which is really, really tight, to 172 sq. ft, which is still small, but at least 2 of you might be able to stand at the same time!
Cruising with Us Posted April 1, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted April 1, 2017 We booked the LIS. Why would the smaller one be in greater demand? I was under the impression that the LIS was around 172 sq. ft... Does anyone know how the beds are configured i9n the LIS? Against the back or on the side? We are in 7139. 2chiefs Posted April 1, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 1, 2017 We booked the LIS. Why would the smaller one be in greater demand? We are in 7139. I'm guessing, as Bob said, supply & demand" too. As cabins approach being sold out the price goes up. Perhaps only less desirable located LIS are left while only a few SIS are left but in better locations?? Or maybe there are no people involved and the computer has an algorithm that simply raises the price by a certain percentage when the category gets within a certain percentage of being sold out without regards to looking at other categories? Strange indeed.
Cruising with Us Posted April 1, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted April 1, 2017 We booked it back in November and it has always been less. Strange.
