My husband and I spontaneously booked a 4 night Bahamas cruise out of Miami for our 25th wedding anniversary. Anyone have tips for a hotel to stay one night pre cruise and shore excursions for Nassau and CocoCay?

You can check the East Coast departures section for hotel info.

And the Nassau section for things to do there.

CocoCay, look at your Cruise Planner and what interests you. Or you can just lounge, swim and chill.

We did the Sea Kayak and Jet Ski.

There is little need for an excursion on Coco Cay. It's like an extension of the ship...loungers are free and so is lunch. There are several beach areas, so don't stop at the 1st one...it will be the most crowded! If a lounger isn't where you want it, you can move them!

If you get there, and decide you want to do some sort of activity, you can almost always book it there.
