zamabehr Posted November 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2017 Hi All! I'm in the process of planning a family vacation with my in-laws. We will need a total of 3 cabins. Myself, DH & DD have cruised before but this will be our first time to Alaska. First cruise ever for the rest of our party. I'm currently looking at doing a cruisetour in mid-July on either the NCL Jewel or Golden Princess. There is also a possibility of the Coral Princess. Anyone know of the best cabins on any of these ships? We are looking at Oceanview rooms. We will be taking the southbound route, so I'm thinking we need to be on the port side? Although if going through passages, will this really make a difference?
easyboy Posted November 12, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2017 On the Golden and Coral Princess, Baja, Caribe and Dolphin are decks with cabin decks below and above it, with no public venues that may cause noise problems. On the passageway, we prefer to go to the topmost open deck where we can have a 360 degree view. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rare Keith1010 Posted November 12, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 12, 2017 I would also be asking on the NCL Cruise Line Board. Keith

Rare Coral Posted November 12, 2017 #5 Share Posted November 12, 2017 It doesn't matter what side of deck, really. I would also consider inside rooms on Lido deck on the Golden Princess (if you choose that ship). You can easily get outside for scenery.
