Cashing checks on board?

Hi, Just trying to find out if you can cash travellers checks on board. Either in the casino or at the front desk.

Try the Pursers desk , they used to cash travelers checks .. Im not 100% they still do.. Casino most likely , but they may charge a fee..

With the Olympics right around the corner, CC should change their time stamps to include tenths and hundredths of a second. Ha!

Even though NCL says that travelers checks are accepted in most ports they visit, very few places accept them. You CAN cash them onboard at front desk, so I'd recommend doing that.

We charge EVERYTHING we can to a credit card. Then get a cash rebate or miles.

Then we take a couple thousand cash.

All the other stuff is a pain. But, I understand some people prefer it.

On the Epic, I cashed travellers checks at Guest Relations on Deck 5.

You can also do it in the casino, no fees charged. I've done it both at Guest Relations and he Casino with no problems. However, if I want to cash a larger amount (usually more than $200) I wait to do it in the casino knowing they have the cash available. A couple of times on the Star and the Dawn the Guest Relations desk had to gather enough funds for my $100 cheque.

I did in the casino and you dont need ID since you just give your room card and they have all your information
