Miami Hilton Downtown

Any feedback on this hotel would be helpful. Plan to stay one night pre cruise.

I can't comment on the hotel but I don't care for the location at night.

I prefer the area on Brickell such as where the Conrad Hilton or JW Marriott or Hampton Inn are located.

Not sure if you have read reviews on trip advisor but I would also do that if you have not done it.

Nice hotel. Some rooms have view of the Port. Do not recommend to venture out at night in that area. Taxi in and out of hotel.

Exactly the info I needed to be at peace before cruise. Thank you. Solo traveler and was getting concerned. Reviews are very good for the hotel but not the area. Will plan to stay in after arrival in the evening (front door delivery) and breakfast before transport to ship.

The area is just fine during the day. I go to the Publix sometimes right there and have walked the area. As a woman, I just wouldn't walk around there at night.

Have you thought about some of the Hilton properties in the Brickell area?

Its not a terrible area. In daylight is 100% fine. At night its eh. Uber will take you somewhere close and safe within 3-5 min drive.

Walking distance to the Publix store and restaurants in the mall attached to Double Tree.
