Any excursion suggestions, or must sees on any of the islands would be appreciated

Thanks

Tom

We did a catamaran on Barbados with calabaza (private charter with only twelve people) and it was amazing! Awesome service, food, drinks, boat, everything!

If you have never swam with stingrays the RC excursion on Antigua was good. We went on the early one and I recommend it over the later one. About twice the people had shown up when we were leaving.

Thank you for some tips. Have always wanted to do a catamaran sail.

Just wondering what your overall impression of the ship was. We have only sailed Princess and are thinking of taking this ship out of san juan. Have read quite a few negative reviews that the ship is very dated. Would like your opinion. Thanks

We did the same cruise after the transatlantic, just remember that Adventure is now very Spanish orientated. As to trips we did the Best of Barbados a bit of a let down, we booked this on-line before we left and on the web site it stated that you would see 30,000 orchids at orchid world, the closed we got was when the tour bus driver said to your right is Orchid world. Having already booked didn't read the trip info on-board which gave completely different info about this trip. St Lucia went on the aerial tram that we enjoyed, St Croix is a beach day and you can walk to a beach to the left at the end of the jetty about 10-15 mins walk.

She's a little old. Bits of rust in the balcony and bathroom in my cabin, older style balcony doors, etc. In general though I'd give the ship a good rating. She just came out of drydock and has the flat panel TVs in the rooms, as well as the touchscreen TVs near the elevators that tell you where you are and what's going on. We never had an issue with anything not working, however our dinner table mates had a couple small issues (toilet stopped flushing but fixed itself after a few minutes).

I think it also depends on what you cruise for. My wife and I are in our late twenties and really enjoy all the activities you can find on the Oasis. The Adventure was not boring or dingy or dated, but for us we missed the options.

If you like the itinerary and the price, I think you'll enjoy the ship. What are the primary things you enjoy about cruising?

The cruise we are looking at is very port intensive. Only 1 sea day and not much time to relax on the ship. Does Adventure of the Seas have anything like MUTS on Princess? One of our families favorite things to do at night is watch a movie on muts and they bring you a warm blanket and pizza and warm cookies. Im sure my son and daughter would love the rock wall and ice rink. Does adventure have the flowrider? Thanks for all your help.

Adventure did add an outdoor screen and do play movies on it in the evening. We didn't go to any so I'm not sure if they offer any popcorn and blankets and the like.

There isn't a flowrider on the adventure, but it does have a rollerblading course.

We ended up staying on the boat in St Croix because of all the port days. The nice thing is that you have most of the ship to yourself, the only downside is they don't have everything open (like ice skating, most bars, casino, shops, etc) while you're in Port.

If you're looking for the most exciting ship I'd highly recommend the Oasis or Allure.

No, I didn't do a review. I'd be happy to answer any questions though!

Thanks for posting the dailies!! We are cruising on the Adventure in three weeks and some of our roll call members are worried about their laundry. I shared the laundry prices but I'm wondering if the AOS is still offering the fill a bag laundry special. It will be helpful for them. :)

I don't remember a special, but I will check my papers when I get home (if I remember).
