We are thinking of taking Ruby on 1/19... Is it too late to get early seating? We had anytime seating last time, but prefer fixed early.

YOu could try calling Princess and ask if there is a waitlist.

We booked for Jan 2008 in Sept 2007 on the CB and were well into the 300's on the early waitlist. Never got cleared and did anytime. You should be able to show up at the anytime dining room around 6pm and have no wait, and you if you like the servers, ask to have that table each night at that time. Then the only difference from traditional would be the different table mates each night.

thanks.. that makes sense. last time we had a large party, so anytime seating was difficult, but with only two of us this time, should be okay if we don't get first seating.

We booked that exact cruise in May and we were waitlisted for early dining for 2. We did finally get confirmation for early dining a couple months ago. At this point it's doubtful that you could get early dining. But don't let that stop you. Come join us on the roll call if you decide to book!

Just checked on-line for the 1/19 cruise on the Ruby and right now early traditional seating is waitlisted. No idea how many are on the list but you could call and ask. good luck!:)
