10ormore Posted December 10, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2009 Have not been on the Westerdam ,but the other Hal ships have had it.It's become a staple in cruise casinos along with Caribbean stud. Minimums are generally $5.00 but you have to bet the ante along with the pair plus unlike some land casinos which allow you to bet the pair plus only. Good Luck! Krazy Kruizers Posted December 10, 2009 #3 Share Posted December 10, 2009 Welcome to Cruise Critic. The Westerdam had 3 card poker when we were on her last spring. I just look around -- we don't gamble so I can't tell you what the minium wager is. But I do know that this fall some people have reported that minium bets have gone up on some ships. Hope someone can answer your question.
windswept31 Posted December 11, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted December 11, 2009 Thanks for the replies. Not big gamblers but the GF and I like this game. One more ?. Do they offer free drinks while you gamble like they do in Vegas?

RedmondCruiser Posted December 11, 2009 #6 Share Posted December 11, 2009 Three card poker game is on all HAL ships. The minimum bet is $5, which can go down to $3 if they feel that not enough people are frequenting the casino. Free drinks are not a practice so don't expect one. They also have blackjack and caribbean stud. You normally find the additional game of Let it Ride on Vista class ships.
FoxyTerrier Posted December 11, 2009 #7 Share Posted December 11, 2009 On our recent Zuiderdam cruise the minimun was $3 the first night only. The other 9 night $5 minimum. While they don't offer free drinks I think there was 2 for 1 in the casino most nights. Also 2 for 1 in the Northern Lights a few nights. I hit 3 nines on day 3 and a straight flush on day 4. I was a happy camper and left with most of my winnings. Good luck!!!
Krazy Kruizers Posted December 11, 2009 #8 Share Posted December 11, 2009 On our Zuiderdam cruises there were 2 for 1 drinks (house alcohol) on 2 nights only each segment -- from 11 PM until midnight.
