Taking an iron on the Majesty

For anyone who is curious about taking on iron on board the Majesty. We took and an old iron with us just in case we had to dispose of it. I placed our iron on top in or carry-on luggage because we didn't feel right trying to hide it. It was scanned and sent through xray at the cruise ship terminal and we took it on board without incident.:)

Isn't it the Majesty that has pull down "ironing boards" in every cabin? I thought I read that somewhere on these boards. I know I plan on taking my "travel steamer iron" in my carry-on as well...no hiding it either.

The older cabins (not the section that was added) does have the small ironing boards that pull out of a drawer. I brought a travel iron with me the first few times, no problem.

The section that was added has them in the right desk drawer also. Maybe you should have loaded the iron's water reservoir up with alcohol:) I always bring my travel iron with me. Never had it confiscated yet.
