What is a "hump" cabin?

Recommended Posts

If you look at the deck plans, approximately midship you will see a section of cabins that curves outward. These cabins are coveted because you see the entire length of the ship from back to front from your balcony.

We were lucky enough to score on on the upcoming Navigator crusie in Dec.

In the pics above, it looks like the dividers on the balcony open up? Is that on every ship I never nitoced it and haven't had a balcony before.

Dear R. Duck... yes, the cabin steward will open the partitions upon request, assuming your neighbor(s) want them open of course. When I took that third photo, the crew was power washing the balconies so to make it easier for them, they opened all the partition doors. However, we had 3 adjoining cabins that cruise and did enjoy having the partitions opened & making for one nice long balcony.

Enjoy your cruise!

We just returned from the EOS on Sunday-we( 4 cabins) were on the 6th deck hump--we were extremely pleased-at first worried about being on a lower deck than we are used to--but it was great-near the elevators(no noise),just a couple of decks down - food & drink & casino--We book our cruises about a year out-so I'm sure if you're interested in hump rooms-book early-

I am looking at a hump cabin on AOS on deck 6 - has anyone stayed in these rooms before? They are very close to the elevator and I am concerned about the noise. Any feedback would be great. Also -what side do you recommend?

Thanks!
