You are sooooo going to love the Pride. We were on it April 18th and I am going on it again in October. I would prefer a different itinery but there are 3 sea days to relax. I hope you have a wonderful trip and let us know when you get back how you liked it.

Heidi, The one great thing about this cruise is sailing out of Baltimore. I see you are from Lebanon. We live in Ephrata and it is so simple to find the port and no hassle. Have a great trip. I do this cruise again in October.

Is there a place to rent chairs at the beach?

 

 

Yes you can rent chairs and umbrellas. Not sure how much but they are available right as you walkup onto the beach.

Alright, I need to first apologize. Weekends are hectic for me, between work, the firehall, and the wife scoring tickets to the Pocono 500 for free. So I am gonna get back to work now on this here review.

So where did I leave off?

Um.....ok so we were leaving the beach. We got back to the ship, got off and made our way through security to get back on. The lady in security wanted to know why we bought water in Florida? She really seemed puzzled when I told her that it came free from the 7-11 when you buy a case of beer. She asked where the beer was. We told her that we took care of that already and she just laughed.

We got back on the ship and went back to our room. When we got there, we decided to order room service for a little late lunch. We ordered a couple reubens, and chicken quesidilla.

We lounged around for a while, took a little nap, and got cleaned up for dinner.

At around 6:30 or so, we made our way down to the Normandie Dining Room and got seated immediately. We looked over the menu for a bit and then, yes , here it comes, food porn!!!!!!!!

Grilled, Marinated Center Cut Pork Chop

Farfalle with Roast Turkey Breast and Green Peas

Grilled Breast of Corn Fed Chicken

Bitter and Blanc

After getting done with dinner, we headed upside to see how far out of Florida we were.

We walked around for a little bit and then went back down to our rooms to get changed. When we entered our room we found our animal of the night.

We got changed and headed to the Taj Mahal for "Jazzin." It was a pretty descent show. After the show finished, we headed to the Lido deck for the Rockin under the Stars party. There were games, music and at 11:30 the Mexican buffet began. We hung out for a while, then headed down to the casino for a bit. After donating a little money we decided to call it a night. We headed back to the room, lounged on our balcony for abit, and went to bed.

Same here...we're on the 20th cruise. We are doing the dolphin encounter in Freeport, also.

Okay, let me try this again here.....

So the next morning we awoke around 9:30 or so and looked over the Fun Times.

 

 

 

We had planned the day out already, but it was nice to see what was going on later in the evening. We made our way upside for breakfast and met up with the parents. Mom and Sis had planned to go on the Pirate Adventure excursion, while the wife and I were headed to the Wyndam Resort for some relaxation on the white sand beach. We didn't go through Carnival and do the excursion. We decided to do it by ourselves.

 

While at Breakfast, we saw that we were making our way inland. We ate and made our way outside to check out the sights.

After getting Spun around and backed into the dock. They made the announcement that we would be able to disembark in a few minutes. We took the time to snap some more shots of the beautiful sights.
