I got out and used my camera today...

Glittery trees and the ice build up on my poor Japanese Maple Tree.

This is day 5 with the weight of all the ice and no melting yet. The coming spring is going to be very busy cleaning up broken trees for some.

 

 

The ice covering everything is beautiful when the sun is out and makes everything sparkle.

But sadly so many people are without power.

The snow and ice pics are beautiful.

 

We've had some really pretty sunsets the last few evenings.

 

I took these tonight. After the sun went down, I noticed the striped cloud formation looked pretty cool, too

My favorite is the bird eating from your wife's fingers. We used to be able to hand feed a couple of squirrels, a couple of chipmunks and a few cardinals. The old gang is long gone.
