Krazy Kruizers Posted January 17, 2014 #2470 Share Posted January 17, 2014 Hope you don't have a major fire like north of LA. We were watching the news this morning and it looks very bad up there.

Multi-Cruiser Posted January 17, 2014 #2472 Share Posted January 17, 2014 Ten miles away...hope it is just brush! Dave I sure hope the fires don't get to you! From watching the news here in the midwest over the years one could get the impression that California is in a constant state of burning.
Rare pierces Posted January 17, 2014 Author #2473 Share Posted January 17, 2014 I sure hope the fires don't get to you! From watching the news here in the midwest over the years one could get the impression that California is in a constant state of burning. Five homes and a few out-buildings. Could have been a whole lot worse as the housing backs right up to the hills. If the wind changed, it could easily have been 500 instead of five. We're pretty far from any significant fuel source, so we have never been threatened by anything other than heavy ashfall. Everybody thinks I'm kidding when I say that we have four seasons...Spring, summer, still summer and fire! And when we aren't burning or shaking, our legislature takes over as our resident natural disaster.... *sigh* Dave
