Which hotel is the NICEST to rent a room for the day?

Not sure I follow, why would you want to rent a room for the day? Usually, your time in GC is short compared to other ports. Some hotels will charge a fee for use their facilities, I have never done it, but it's much cheaper than the room rate.

Are you looking for a nice hotel room (with a day rate) or a nice beach? If

we knew exactly what it is you are looking for, we might be able to give you better answers. :)

The Ritz Carlton doesn't allow day passes or for anyone who is not a guest to use the beach or pool facilities.

 

You are welcome to rent a room for the day and if possible they will allow you into the room early but if it's a busy time of the year there are no guarantees.

Both the Marriott and the Westin offer hotel day rooms to rent. It all depends on occupancy rates. The Westin runs $150 and up plus taxes but a $20 resort fee. The Marriott price varies as well.

We recently did hot-wire and got the grand cayman suites resort which is the old hyatt or Hilton for 105 dollars. 25 per person for the day. Not bad for a 4.5 star resort.
