seascot Posted September 19, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2010 I already have my dresses for all the formal nights on Solstice, but today I saw a lovely purple sparkly top when out shopping. Do you think a sparkly top would be too much on a non formal night?
CTKath Posted September 19, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2010 If it makes you happy, then by all means, wear it!
librarylady19 Posted September 19, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2010 Not at all...go for it. I say it's better to be "over-dressed" than under-dressed. This top would be very appropriate in any of the venues (bars, restaurants, casino, theater)....might look a bit over the top at the buffet or pool though ;)
ocbeachbums Posted September 19, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 19, 2010 No problem dressing in some "sparkles" on non formal nights. I have some sparkly tops I wear and I have never feel out of place! On non formal nights you will see lots of different types of dress. Enjoy yourself!!!:)

purplethorn Posted September 19, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 19, 2010 sparkly - thumbs up! Is a short black dress (with some detail around the neck) OK for formal nights? I am not sure how short is OK for formal nights .... this one comes about an inch above the night??
