We enjoyed the dancing/singing waiters on the Destiny and Imagination but they were a lot more entertaining on the Valor. In the following photos they can be seen on both sets of stairs serenading the crowd but on other days they were dancing on the tray tables.

Hi Mike, really enjoying the reviews and the pictures as we are on the Valor this coming spring. Where on the ship is the adults only area?

Jerseygirl79 is right, it's at the back of the ship deck 9

I'm so glad you're up to the Valor part of your trip! I'll be sailing her over Christmas for my first Carnival cruise. In the picture of the adults only area it looks like there is a ceiling over the pool. Does it cover the entire area, or is any of it open to the sun?

Great review, you're getting me soo fired up for my trip!

After dinner the adults went to the Paris Hot Lounge for karaoke until it was time to go next door to the Eagles Lounge to see Carl Strong, our favorite comedian from our Destiny cruise.

After the show we all went over to the Paris Hot Lounge again for more karaoke, this time, Tracy and Rick (after a few drinks :D) each sang a song. Then it was hurry up and off to the Eagles Lounge again for Darren Sanders, the comedian we enjoyed on our Imagination cruise. Even tho it was basically the same acts we still enjoyed both of them. Carl Strong noticed us after the show and made a remark " Hey, didn’t I see you two on the Destiny, you were sitting right up front, are you guys following me around".

We missed a show called ‘ Nightclub Express’ in the Ivanhoe Lounge featuring the Valor dancers and the vocals of Matt and Danielle. You have to pick and chose what you want to do each night because there is a lot going on. Most lounges have some sort of entertainment, for example tonight we also had :

Island Sounds with Kool Runningz on the Lido deck

Piano Music with Odeta in the American Lounge

Latin Music with Just Duet in the Winston Lounge

Rock Music with Pure Band at the Casino Bar

Piano Bar Fun with Randy at the Lindy Hop

Dance Club with DJ Cesar in the One Small Step Lounge

If your wondering what the kids are up to each and every night, they have their own activities. Every once in a while they will join us for a show or karaoke but otherwise they have a curfew and we make sure they abide by it.

Rick, rocking it in the Paris Hot Lounge

Mike, Thanks for mentioning Dolphin Mall in your earlier post. We didn't know this place existed and will definitely head there on the Sunday we get off the boat for a few hours as our flight doesn't leave Miami until 10.30pm the Sun night.

For your info the International Mall is practically next door to the Dolphin mall.

Tuesday, Aug 31th : Grand Cayman. (Arrival 7:00 a.m - departure 4:00 p.m)

We started the morning by going to the gym with Tracy’s parents. Rick, Nathalie and Nick went off on their own to do a dolphin excursion.

Wonderful review!!! I'm cruising on the Imagination in Nov for my 30th bday and have a hard time finding recent reviews with pictures of that ship, so thank you. Your vacation sounds like my ultimate dream vacation-thank you for letting me experience it vicariously through you and your family.

I see how you and the wife can eat so well and look so great! You've motivated me to bring my workout clothes in December!

Thank you jerseygirl79 for all your comments including this one.

Thank you to saintscruisefool and emk1129 , happy that you are enjoying my review.

After breakfast on the Lido deck we all took a tender to Grand Cayman. Since we are coming back next week on the Freedom we decide to go shopping this time around and next week we would go to 7 Mile Beach. It was another very hot day, we stayed until 2:00 p.m and returned to the ship.

Also in port, Carnival Legend

The balance of the afternoon was spent relaxing in the sun until it was time to get ready for the past guest party, followed by dinner.
