I've wondered about this also. I never get anything from the deli...we just order room service instead so we can get the chips.

The issue might be with serving them. Let's face it if they put a bowl of chips out for you to take some with your sandwich some one would come along and grab a handfull...........do you want to know where that hand has been before it touched the chips? :eek: Small indv. bags would make sense but do you only offer them with a sandwich, can you only have one and on and on............best way to solve it all not serve them at all in the Deli. All your room service food is prepared by crew wearing gloves.

 

 

I don't think that's the issue. They have corn chips with nacho cheese on the side and they provide tongs to gather them with. Since they are wearing gloves they could easily scoop some up and put them on your plate.

Back in 98 on our first cruise on the Sensation they did have chips at the Deli. My guess is instead of people using the utensil there they used their hands,,,yuk.

 

I too vote for the return of the CHIP:rolleyes:

Heres what they need to do...add chips ( in the little bags, of course ) and add salsa ( us hillbillies put salsa on lots of things)...and if they want to take away anything, they can remove that poor excuse for ice tea they serve...yuk...yuk!!
