police46 Posted January 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2011 I will be sailing on the Freedom Feb.06 and was wondering if anybody knows if they do anything special for the Super Bowl (ex. show it on the big screen with a tail gate party) or just show it in the sports bar. *Mach* Posted January 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2011 It varies a bit by ship but there's normally a pretty fair todo on SuperBowl day! We'll be on the Ecstasy for SuperBowl and it's gonna be a blast!!! :)
golfadj Posted January 9, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2011 Last time we were on the Miracle they had a large lounge set up with big screen TV and lots of bar food. Was a great time.

BOBFudge Posted January 9, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 9, 2011 I also will be on the Triumph superbowl sunday. I believe it should be the formal night as well as it is my 40th birthday.. yst347 Posted January 9, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 9, 2011 Mach, I will be getting on the Conquest on Superbowl Sunday--will they be showing it on the big screen? We have boarded Conquest twice on SuperBowl Sunday! The game will be on the poolside big screen but if the weather is like today it won't make much difference. The game will be shown in other venues, the sportsbar, on the promenade by the casino bar and elsewhere. It's a really good time.
renza Posted January 9, 2011 #7 Share Posted January 9, 2011 Police 46, I am on that sailing as well. I dont see you on our roll call, we have a meet and greet with over 50 people now. Come join us on roll call. They will have the game on the big screen outside and at the sports bar. Lots of fun, only 28 days left

We'll be on the Ecstasy for SuperBowl and it's gonna be a blast!!! :) We will be on the same cruise, except we will be doing a B2B, the 1st leg of the trip being the Monday departure before Super Bowl Sunday. We did this same Super Bowl cruise last year and had a great time! Last year we were a little late finding a spot to watch the game so this year we definately need to scope out our spots before hand. They showed it in the lounges and in the theater....they had really good finger foods...chips, dip, hot dogs, chicken wings or tenders, etc...They had buckets of beer you could buy....the bucket was a helmet that you got to keep...i'll be cruising on the Ecstasy again for the Superbowl in a few weeks, and i know we will have a blast!!! Police46 I have been on a Carnival cruise during the world cup for soccer and that was shown on the big screen over the pool so I'm sure that they will show the superbowl on that as well.
