alvin moondust Posted January 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2011 I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of the typical cost for excursions from the ship please. Its a P&O Ventura cruise to the Caribbean Thanks Steve
paul929207 Posted January 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2011 Prices range for $40 or 50 for a half day tour to several thousand for overnight tours that involve flights and hotels.
soccerref Posted January 9, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2011 You might be better asking this question on the P&O board - see the first 2 forum sections - or on P&O's own web site where there is a chat forum. Enjoy your cruise.
Bonnie J. Posted January 9, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2011 Let us know the ports and we can help you better. Generally you pay a LOT more when you book a ships tour VS. the same tour but not from the ship. An example: cave tubing with Reggie in Belize we pay $45 each. The ship's costs have been from $85+ and up. This is the same caves, same amount of time, everything the same. If you ask here about tours we can let you know who to contact and if they are reliable. Let us know what type of tours interest you.
jocap Posted January 9, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 9, 2011 If you go onto the P&O web site, the excursions should be listed there....if the prices aren't listed, then ask on the P&O page. Jo.
cntrydncr1 Posted January 11, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 11, 2011 For budgeting purposes I figure an average of $100 per day in the caribbean. If I book from independents I usually don't spend that much but if you can spend alot more depending upon what you do (float planes, helicoptors, etc)
