Cost of Excursions

I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of the typical cost for excursions from the ship please.

 

Its a P&O Ventura cruise to the Caribbean

Prices range for $40 or 50 for a half day tour to several thousand for overnight tours that involve flights and hotels.

Let us know the ports and we can help you better. Generally you pay a LOT more when you book a ships tour VS. the same tour but not from the ship. An example: cave tubing with Reggie in Belize we pay $45 each. The ship's costs have been from $85+ and up. This is the same caves,same amount of time, everything the same.

For budgeting purposes I figure an average of $100 per day in the caribbean. If I book from independents I usually don't spend that much but if you can spend alot more depending upon what you do (float planes, helicoptors, etc)
