Shower Curtain or Glass Door

I know many complain about the "friendly" curtain. We'll be on the CB shortly. Do any ships have glass doors in the inside/balcony cabins? Just wondering if I need to bring a cheapie throw away curtain!

Glass doors only happen in full suites. Actually I've only seen one and that was in an owner's suite.

Full suites only have glass doors on the shower. If you want to bring your own curtain that is fine. But if you find a problem with the one already there, the room steward will usually change it out for you with a fresh one.

On my last cruise I noticed a faint musty smell from the curtain and the room steward replaced it with a new fresh one within a few minutes!!

We wouldn't recommend it but we have been advised by a couple of passengers who possessed a phobia about shower curtains that they do not use one. There being a drain on the floor of the bathroom they let gravity and ship motion to do its job. Pity the cabin steward

To keep the shower curtains from their "friendly advances" simply clip 5 or 6 of those black binder clips to the bottom hem. The added weight is just enough to keep the curtain hanging straight down. WORKS LIKE A CHARM!!!!! Those clips have become just about the most important thing I pack - I simply can't stand when those curtains touch me!!!

We never have a big problem with the shower curtain. Make sure the bathroom door is shut tight:)

I never have a problem with the curtain. I leave the bathroom door open a bit but once in the shower, I make sure the curtain is inside the lip. There are magnets at the bottom of the curtain to help hold it down.

This is what we found really helps. If the bathroom door is left open or ajar, it seems to let any breeze from a balcony door being opened, or the main door opened cause the shower curtain to move around. If we keep the door closed while in the shower, it was never a problem.

All Celebrity and RC ships built in the last dozen years have curved glass shower doors that move on a track. And the new Celebrity S ships have an area big enough for two people. Save water and shower with a friend.:D

I hate the bathrooms with the shower curtains! Not only do they attack you, I also flood the bathroom floor.
