Golden - International Cafe

Does the Golden have an International Cafe yet? I was last on her many years ago and it is now a place I look forward to having on my Princess cruises. :D

When we were on the Golden last year, we made pigs of ourselves at the International Cafe. Their soup is fantastic and my favorite was the small plate of cold shrimp. Of course, we had to have the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies for dessert - oink, oink:o!!!

The Golden also has Vines in the Piazza, and a small area next to it that sells Godiva Chocolates. The chocolates were expensive. I didn't see anyone buying them.

I did look at the chocolate, many times. And then turn around and head back to the International Cafe where there was plenty of yummy treats. Can someone pack up some of those chocolate chip cookies and send a care package to the San Fernando Valley for me?

They had panini sandwiches that you could get either cold or hot. They weren't there for breakfast, but all afternoon and evening you could get them. They did have a breakfast sandwich, similar to the Egg McMuffin at McDonalds. It was pretty good. The morning was mostly various types of donuts and danish. The rest of the day they had the Soup of the Day, salads, paninis, and an assortment of delicious desserts.
