CherylsCaribbeanTravel Posted February 4, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2011 This board has been particularily helpful in my decision to sail the 12 night Ruby Princess itinerary listed below: Barcelona, Spain Monte Carlo, Monaco Florence, Italy Rome, Italy Napels/Capri, Italy At Sea Mykonos, Greece Istanbul, Turkey Kusadasi, Turkey Athens, Greece At Sea Venice Is there any particular benefit to port vs. starboard for a balcony cabin? Thank you in advance, Cheryl :)
Desert Cruizers Posted February 4, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2011 Hi Cheryl, Port or Starboard hasn't made that much differance to us, although I do tend to put us on the Port side. Your not going to spend that much time in your cabin so you will spend most of your time on Deck and will see a lot. If there is anything on the other side I merely switch sides. It is hard to tell which way your ship will enter a Port to adivse on which side is better. Have a wonderful cruise, one of these days we might be able to do a Med cruise.
