efields2 Posted February 21, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2011 Hi, is there a charge for eating at places like Ben and Jerrys and Johnny Rockets. Yes and yes. However, you can get free ice cream and hamburgers in other places on the ship. They may not be as good, but they are free! ;)
griffy116 Posted February 21, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2011 You can buy a soda card and if you drink 2+ sodas per day, it's cheaper than purchasing soda by the can. Ben & Jerry's is by the scoop for prices but they have soft serve free out by the pool. There are always free pastries, free burgers, free pizza on the ship. Location depends on which ship (layout). Alcholic beverages are extra. Casino drinks are not free when you are gambling, but your soda card will get you a free soft drink at the bar in the casino. Johnny Rockets has a cover charge, but you can eat any food on the menu, including desserts for $4.95. They start you out with a big basket of their onion rings. Room service is free (just give a tip when it arrives).
cb at sea Posted February 21, 2011 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2011 Actually, an adult needs to drink the equivilent of 3+ cans per day for the soda package to make financial sense. Ice cream (the real stuff...not "frozen yogurt) is avail. for dessert every night in the dining room!
