Carnival Magic Nov 2012, new ports?

I was looking into booking a Thanksgiving cruise for 2012 and was pleasantly surprised to see the Magic was making three different Caribbean runs that month, it's nice to see some new ports of call from Galveston. It also shows a similar schedule in December and January:

Yep. I noticed that about a week ago. If I remember correctly there are 6-8 of them. It is great for Galveston that they now have another itinerary.

Yup noticed that. Last I checked the Triumphs schedule wasn't out yet hope that means some new ports there also. I enjoy Cozumel but Progresso is getting old.

Something to compete with RCL who goes to Roatan and Belize from Galveston for years. First time Iv seen it on Carnival from Galveston.

So glad to see this!! We drive to NOLA for these intineraries and now we can just drive to Galveston. :D

I love how they call a cruise to Key West and the Bahamas an Eastern Caribbean route! :confused: Not even close to the Eastern Caribbean.

It is so weird how they class the itineraries.

 

Every itinerary that has Key West, Nassau, and Freeport (has to be all three) is considered an Eastern Caribbean cruise.

 

But if it has Port Canaveral instead of Key West, it is considered Bahamas. :confused:

I wonder though if these iteneraries will be temporary to spice up business for the Magic or permanent new choices.
