Michigan honey Posted April 17, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2011 Has anyone very visited this town? I am particularly interested in the walk into the city. Is the bridge really steep? Is this something an average walker can do or does it take a real athlete? Is the visit worth the walk? Thanks.
Eileen G Posted April 17, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 17, 2011 We have been to Civita. The bridge is not too bad. Anyone without mobility issues should have no problem. We really loved the town. more pictures here: http://cid-1e98e90214e77bf9.photos.live.com/self.aspx/Hilltowns/IMG%5E_0336.jpg#
cruiseluv Posted April 17, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 17, 2011 We also visited the town. Agree the bridge climb is not too bad (and the wind was howling that day!). I found it interesting for a brief stop .

Civita di Bagnoregio looks like a beautiful place to visit. I just read an article about it written by Rick Steves. Thanks for sharing!

DrSch Posted May 15, 2011 #6 Share Posted May 15, 2011 Pictures are amazing. We are planning to go to these two towns in July. Did you hear anything about the underground Orvieto tour? I am planning on doing that as well.
