Stress...Yikes...

Three weeks till we are on our way, Stressing about everything, leaving older kids at home, leaving the dogs. Driving almost 17 hours....Getting sick...Oh I could just keep going on........I think its worse cause we are not taking the kids, lol

I dont usually, but been busy with other things and Im leaving in the morning. I started a list last night to cut down on stress. packing, shower, kroger, a/c (turn it off) etc.. and check things off as you do them.

Here's a prescription for stress from Dr. Mach... put on some of your favorite Jimmy Buffett tunes and some island music, read reviews of your ship here on Cruise Critic, don't take too much very seriously, have a boat drink or two... Repeat as necessary until symptoms are gone.

Everything will work out fine. The kids will be OK, so will the dogs. The drive will be long but worth it when you first lay your eyes on your ship.

Maybe I should start a poll. Do lists help keep your stress down prior to the cruise. This is the 2nd thread in 2 days where a poster is feeling stressed.

 

Or a poll what things help destress you? Music as Host Mach suggests?
