Athens a full or half day tour

Full day by all means. When your kids are back in school and look at their history or art textbooks they will be able to say "I was there!"

A half day tour is more likely to be a boring driveby with a lightning visit to the Acropolis. On a full day, you will get out and explore many wonderful places. Athens is worth three days of solid sightseeing. Do spend the full day.

FULL DAY, we did such a tour and that wasn't enough time. Our children were 7, 12 and 14 at the time, had a great time. It was hot, but still worth every extra minute.

I originally booked an 1/2 day tour, will I have time to see the highlights? I was thinking a whole day much be to much for the kids (older but...)
