foxesden1 Posted May 30, 2011 Author #76 Share Posted May 30, 2011 I have no idea what we did on the April 9 - I am guessing I stopped taking pix of breakfast and lunch, because we always seemed to get the same thing.. :p I guess I forgot to take a pix of the dessert menu? Or maybe my card was full?

foxesden1 Posted May 30, 2011 Author #79 Share Posted May 30, 2011 Miss Em's starter, this time it was not in a sliver cup. Mine. Nice and light. Would have been fab if it was made in house. Davids starter. He loved it. I think it would have made a great lunch option in the MDR. We all had this. Very nice. I think Miss Em thought she was at a wedding.. because she also had a pasta course.. followed by a fish course..
foxesden1 Posted May 30, 2011 Author #80 Share Posted May 30, 2011 I had the Prime Rib. and this.. David had this.. and we both had this.. Just a cool shot.. tonights menu was great - but I have no idea why it was not served on formal night. the following formal night.. had Fried Chicken on the menu.. which seemed odd to me.. (tasty as it was for my daughter.. )
foxesden1 Posted May 30, 2011 Author #81 Share Posted May 30, 2011 A perfect day at sea.. Em spent the day in Kids club, so I was able to enjoy the ship - yes I am beside the kids pool, it was the only spot I could get a seat. A great lunch, some light reading with my Kindle and a wonderful view.
foxesden1 Posted May 30, 2011 Author #82 Share Posted May 30, 2011 I found some photos.. dated April 6th, 2011. So.. back to those flowers I was not thrilled with? At the start of my VERY long review? This is them, four days into the cruise. Sorry, but flowers should last for more then four days. foxesden1 Posted May 30, 2011 Author #83 Share Posted May 30, 2011 More photos of around the ship.. Coffee with Gordan, our CD. I always had fun when I went - but some guests were very demanding of his time  and it ended up being a bit of a one sided conversation. This photo was taken at the start of the cruise - you could still get a seat at this point. He always had very funny stories to share. All I can say, is don't talk to friends while trying to get a wine, you may end up with a $55.00 2oz glass of wine.. If you go to the Champagne bar before diner, you are given complementary h'ordeuvres. And after dinner, complementary chocolates and other sweet treats.
foxesden1 Posted May 30, 2011 Author #84 Share Posted May 30, 2011 Another nice touch that the Champagne Bar does is on some nights, if you buy a bottle of Champagne, you are given a complementary plate of caviar. We opted not to do that, as we had a full bottle of warm champagne in our stateroom. :p (which in fact ended up traveling with us into Barcelona, then France and back to Barcelona.. I left it with a friend in the hotel, the night before we left to fly home. We just never got around to drinking it!

foxesden1 Posted May 30, 2011 Author #86 Share Posted May 30, 2011 So at this point, I have to say I feel like I am all alone.. :( is my review that bad? I have tried to add more comments, is it to pix heavy? Are people not reading it? Did everyone give up on me? anyone? anyone? anyone? Oh well, I will just keep plugging away... foxesden1 Posted May 30, 2011 Author #89 Share Posted May 30, 2011 Room Service We did not order it that much, but the items we did like, we ordered again and again. The biggest tip I can give you about room service, is you can order LAYS potato chips (yellow bag) FREE OF CHARGE! Its a single serving, but oh so good for a lite night salty treat! Just like CC says, order this with extra chips. A few days before we got to Spain the ran out of crackers. I almost cried.. :(
foxesden1 Posted May 30, 2011 Author #90 Share Posted May 30, 2011 More Room Service.. We were not fans of this The Salad was okay, but we never ordered it again. We found for us, a small nosh from deck six was the perfect bedtime snack. Honey Stung chicken from room service
3dogmom Posted May 30, 2011 #91 Share Posted May 30, 2011 I'm reading every word of your review and I absolutely love the food pics. I don't comment on reviews because I'd rather read what you have to say than "hey, great job..." by posters. But, since you questioned whether or not anyone was paying attention and reading, wanted you to know that I am!:)
foxesden1 Posted May 30, 2011 Author #92 Share Posted May 30, 2011 Sorry guys... we are still back in time.. we have six pc in our house, and I am finding photos on all of them.. With out a doubt the best show I have ever seen on a Cruise Ship. RUN do not WALK to this mans show! www bobarno dot com "He brings comedy and the serious side to pickpocketing and other street crimes. From pure comedy to lectures using exclusive video footage." David was called up on stage, and let me tell you - 100% of a doubt David still has no idea how his shirt was removed. Let alone how the guy on the end lost his underpants! But, since you questioned whether or not anyone was paying attention and reading, wanted you to know that I am!:) Thanks, I know what you mean, trying to read a review, and there is tons of chit chat.. ;) going on. But thanks.. nice to know I am not alone, or worse, the troops were getting rallied to beat me down for a bad review. foxesden1 Posted May 30, 2011 Author #95 Share Posted May 30, 2011 Bedtime snack options from Sorrento's Pizza. A perfect Smoked Salmon Egg Benny from the MDR Truly, I would have had this daily if my DH liked the MDR breakfast more. Perfection.
foxesden1 Posted May 30, 2011 Author #96 Share Posted May 30, 2011 Still going back in time.. April 9 - 2011 We did the CC cabin crawl. We meet at the english pub, broke into two groups, and visited a wide selection of cabins - inside to Owners suites. So many people were kind enough to open their cabins for us to visit. Now, my cabin - (once gain, sorry going to get neg here) I told my CA two days before, and again the night before, and again the AM of the walk (we even went to breakfast at 7am thinking this would allow her more time to make up our room. So our of all the cabins we visited, guess which one HAD NOT BEEN MADE UP?  :( I was so sad when my group arrived to see her just starting on ours. I had cleaned up everything before hand - so it was not a huge mess. Just the bed needed to be made, the pullman, and the WC.
lara_lox Posted May 30, 2011 #97 Share Posted May 30, 2011 I'm still reading too and the photos are great. As they say, a picture paints a thousand words... Plus I like my food so it's really helpful seeing everything. I would definitely say no news is good news here on CC - people seem very quick to comment on posts they don't like or agree with. I'm sure everyone's just happily following along quietly like me! I sail on Liberty for the first time a week on Saturday and this thread is getting me even more excited so thank you :D
