Murfee33 Posted June 10, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2011 We are sailing on the Azura in a week's time visiting Dublin, Iceland and the Norwegian Fiords. We are wondering what sort of tempersture to expect, and if it will be similar to our English weather at this time of year. Has anyone done this cruise before?
Dayenu Posted June 10, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2011 Last year in Agust, looking at the photos, t-shirts or sweaters in the morning. North of Tromso, if you are going that far, we needed light jackets (windbreakers). Check the weather websites right before you leave. I would take a lightweight umbrella, just in case, and closed-toe shoes. Dress in layers.

Rare Keith1010 Posted June 10, 2011 #4 Share Posted June 10, 2011 Weather can be unpredictable. I would bring a rain coat just in case and also a fleece or a sweater. Keith
PennyAgain Posted June 10, 2011 #5 Share Posted June 10, 2011 The weather in Iceland can change in a minute. Be prepared to layer on more clothes or to take some off as your day goes on. I would say much the same for Norway. When the sun is out and is bright, you can get a sunburn and then a few minutes later be putting on a jacket when the sun goes behind clouds. We had drippy rain many days and sometimes it was quite windy. One clear, sunny day in Iceland. One only.
