sorry, I don't think Harmony will still be in service in 2106...in fact, I won't be alive so I don't care...

But sadly, I shudder to think what RCI ships might look like in 2106

 

The azipods will be replaced with hyper drive.

The next generation of "cruise ships" will include excursions on Mars, the moons of Jupiter and Saturn, and skiing on Pluto.

 

Internet package might be a little steep as light travels 9 hour one way to Pluto.

 

Balcony suites awesome view.

ok, lol, there's a lot of variables. First of all, Capt Johnny insists he won't be bringing Harmony out. Second, Capt Johnny likes doing rotations longer than 10 weeks. I don't know when Harmony goes into service. Soooooo, pretending Harmony starts service April 2, 2016 with Capt Gus, and he does a 10 week rotation, and if Capt Johnny does a 10 week rotation. Then On October 29 Capt Gus signs off and Capt Johnny signs on. What are the dates of your B2B?

Every ship has two "permanent" Captains, and they switch off with each other about every 10 weeks.

 

The ones who have "started rotation" next to their names are the ones currently on board.

 

The rotation schedule for Captains is usually 10 weeks on and 10 weeks off. So the first Captain listed is currently on board and the date next to his/her name is when they started. The second Captain is on vacation.

 

 

So per these updates: Anthem OTS - Capt Anders Ingebrigtsen (started rotation 2-13-16)

Capt Claus Andersen (Prior to that) (started rotation 1-31-16) He had a 2 week run and was replaced when the ship was returned due to the winter storm out in the Atlantic. 2 weeks, That's an awful short break for Capt Anders Ingebrigtsen.

October 16 for the 7 nighter, then the 23 for the TA home to Ft.Lauderdale...

I would assume that he will be taking over with the March 4 CTN. Wasn't given the particulars of the hand-off between Captain Claus and Captain Anders. was just told that he returns tomorrow, March 2nd, because the ship is coming back to Cape Liberty early.

Hi Patti, Would be interested to know too as would be great if Captain Claus was there for our Anthem October cruise.

somewhere back quite a few pages I thought someone said he took a fleet captain position in Miami. There were 4 spots to fill. One captain retired (Strazicic?) and one resigned (Stahre-Janson).
