It finally rained but not to bad, more of a really good drizzle. The Captain kept us right on the edge of those huge clouds...

We went to Kohls tonight and we bought 2 more sets!!!! They were priced 14.99, they were on sale for 5.99... We got the parrotts head and the green and yellow looking things again...

Oh that's music to my ears!! I have 2 5.00 off coupons so I can get 3 sets of them for 7.97 plus tax. Yipee!! I hope they have the flamingo ones. They are my favorite.

 

Tell Rae not to be too worried about boys! She needs them to chase her not the other way around! Is she wanting to work at Disney? That would be an awesome job. It's my favorite land vacation place. If i'm not on a cruise i'm at Disney. She could be Princess Aurora or Cinderella!

Us to girls being really silly in the mirror

 

 

 

 

After watching the storm for awhile we headed down to the Impressionist Boulevard - Promenade Deck - Casino Area... It's the happening place especially when it's raining outside and you can't sit outside and watch a movie...

 

As you can guess, we wondered around and around and around...

 

Finally we adventured into Alfred's Bar... Guess What was going on in there...

 

KARAOKE!!!!!!

(I forgot my camara for this - SORRY)

 

and It looked like so much fun!!!!

 

So I wondered on in and made a circle of the room and spotted that bleach blonde hair boy that Rae had been spotting and there were a few chairs near his family and sat down by them..

 

Wing man!!!!! Here I come....

 

We sat down and it took the blonde haired boy at least 1 minute to come right over and sit down right next to me and just start talking our ear off.... No just a little footnote here... (Remember when a young man hollered "Jackpot" - that was Forrest saying that about Rae!!!! Don't think that was really a good idea... But more on this later...)

 

YES, I came through....

 

I got up and went to the bathroom and Rae and I were able to change places so she could sit by Forrest... (Bleach Blonde Boy) ...

 

The Karaoke was hopping!!!!! Lots of people were signing up tio sing!!! Forrest, his sister and many other... Plus, when someone was sing people were dancing on the dance floor. It was really fun!!!!

 

Forrest sang a Vanilla Ice - Ice, Ice, Baby and it was fabulous....

 

Lots of the young girls sang Taylor Swift and other really cute songs...

 

Forrest kept trying to get Rae to sign up and sing something but everything that she wanted to sing someone else was singing it. So finally she found a song to sing and Forrest signed her up and ran the sign up sheet up there even without her really having a chance to say no...

 

Finally the lady called her name...

 

It was time for her to sing...

 

Tik Tok.....

 

She did an awesome job... Everyone clapped and cheered!!!!! It was awesome.

 

Forrest was impressed.... Along with his cousin Trenton... (more about him later)

 

Right when Rae finished sing her song this really cute young man tapped her on the shoulder and asked her to dance...

 

He was 10.... He was so cute!!!!!! Rae 2 stepped with him,

 

and right when she was leaving the dance floor up came another young man, Slater" he was 11 and asked her to dance... She was really a hit with the really cute young men...

 

I sure wish I would have gotten pictures of this... DANG IT!!!

 

We had so much fun in Alfred's Bar - Karaoke!!!!!

 

PLUS - She made friends.... Guy Friends...

 

She loves hanging with guys...

 

Karaoke was finished around 11:00....

 

and guess what time it was.... Mexican Buffet Time!!!!!

 

Forrest and all of his 22 family members - okay not all 22 people we're in Alfred's but lots of them were... headed to there staterooms... Forrest was grounded so he couldn't hang out with us... he got in trouble earlier that day... when we were sitting on Deck 10 Lido area... remember the picture with the bleach blonde hair boy in the back ground. Well I heard every bit of him getting in trouble right there... It wasn't very pleasant to watch right there in front of everyone. I really felt sorry for Forrest (at the time I didn't know he was Forrest) even though he was getting yelled at - outside on the Lido deck is just wasn't a good place to for a parent/son confrontation - grounding someone... :rolleyes: take it to the staeroom...

 

So Forrest and Trenton and the rest of his family went to there stateroom and Rae and I headed to the Mexican Buffet!!!!!!

When we headed down to the buffet we ran into our table mates... Love them...

 

They were already in line and asked us to cut in with them but we passes and decided that we would wait in the really really long line....

I will say...

 

When Charlie and I cruised in October of 2009 - on the same ship - we didn't stay up for this... so i was really looking forward to try the Mexican Buffet...

 

Now, I love Abuelos and Pappasitos and On the Border.... Matter of fact... I love Mexican Food... It's my favorite...

 

This Mexican Buffet wasn't anything like those... We love Mexican food... But this wasn't my favorite Tex Mex... So I barely ate any of it...

 

Now of to bed....

 

We're really tired and tomorrow is NASSAU!!!!! We have to get up early for our adventure.... We can't wait...

I also wanted to let you know. My sister called me to find out where my 30% Kohls coupon was..so since she was going I asked her to get me some towel clips..then I won't be tempted to buy anything but the towel clips..I hope she found some.

 

I am only getting 2 sets..but I might go check at the dollar store..because I thought that I saw them there too. If so I might get a few more.

Oh I think that is great! Disney seems like a great company to work for and so much fun. I can't wait to sail on a Disney cruise but haven't had the chance to get in on a great deal. At their regular rates we each could take 4 cruises on Carnival compared to one on Disney.

I noticed you had a bunch of pillows on your bed. Did you bring them with you or did they give you extra ones? I ask beacause I want to bring mine with me.:D LOL I'm not sure I will have room in my suitcases.

That's great that Rae finally met some friends. So cute that she danced with the younger ones too! She made their whole cruise I bet.

During her years studying for a BA HONS degree at University, my daughter participated in the international Disney student programme. She worked one summer (we live in Scotland) for Disney FL. It was an amazing experience for her, and one I am sure, helped her CV . She now is married, living in the Cayman Islands, and working as Operations Manager for a large resort. Disney was totally one of the best work experience programmes ever! So, wish Rae luck in getting a placement..its awesome!!!
