Disembarkation from the Allure Eastern

My partner and I will be on the Allure in Oct and I am looking at booking flights. From your experience would you book a 11:30 a.m. from FLL. Thank you in advance for all the information.

A 11:30 flight is fine. The process of getting off is so efficient. You will have plenty of time to get to to FLL. In fact we will be cruising around then and our return flight out of FLL is 11:30 AM.

Your flight time should be fine, but honestly, I would get off the ship either in the first group, or use self-disembarkation. FLL can be a nightmare, not to mention thousands of your Allure shipmates, plus other passengers from other ships, will be going to the airport with you. I'd much rather wait at the airport safely through security, than hang arond the ship waiting to get off hoping I make it. Just a suggestion. :)

I was on the Oasis in April and made an 11:30 flight with no problems. We got off the ship about 9:00. Went through customs, got our luggage and made it to the airport in plenty of time!

Also note that with this departure flight time out of FLL from Port Everglades you might be able to use luggage valet if the carrier you are using participates...worth a look see...;)
