Wine & Dine Packages?

Looking at the website, they have something called a Wine & Dine package, at a savings up up to 29%. So are they worth it if you get the option without wine (have already decided on the beverage pkg) Or is it better to wait to see if they offer a special on board? Also, where do you book them? I don't see the option under specialty dining reservations on line.

Am a bit confused by your post. X does offer a variety of wine packages which basically get you a discount on certain bottles of wine. They also offer some meals in various specialty restaurants where you can purchase special menus that have wines paired with each course. But not sure what you mean by "Wine and Dine."

I recall seeing a more detailed listing on this board but cannot find it. Maybe someone else can find it.

Thanks for the info, we had never noticed that on the web site. Just one more good example of the cruise line trying to "maximize onboard revenue. But it sure sounds like a good deal for those that would have gone to the various alternative restaurants anyway.

Sorry, I had meant to include the link to the brochure. Here it is, the thing is no prices are given, so without an option to buy on line, its hard to tell if its a deal or not. I thought maybe someone had taken advantage of the offer.

I believe that they can only be booked once you are on-board, unless something has changed. Look for an information table after you check in at the pier, either in the waiting area, or just outside the buffet area that day.

Thank you - was worried it was right there in front of me but I was missing it!

I have e-mailed Celebrity's Specialty Restaurant contact and from what I understand is that you must see the Matre'd once on board to get the Wine and Dine Package. There are three levels, Savor (3 dining reservations, 3 wines) Gourmand (5 dining reservations, 3 wines) and Bacchus (5 dining reservations, 5 wines) The pre 9/1 prices were $275, $349, and $399 per couple. They have all gone up by $5pp for each dining room.

I booked specialty restaurants on line for 3 different nights and was told verbally from Celebrity that after speaking with the Matre'd once on board he should be able to confirm the entire package including wine but the new prices were not available as of 9/2 per reply to my e-mail from Speciaty Restaurants. The individual indicated that I could contact her closer to sailing for complete and accurate information. I will do so and then decide if I keep the specialty reservations or cancel per their response on price and guarantee of my selected dates. You can email them at: CelebrityRestaurants@celebrity.com
