We also went to the Vixen shipwreck! Great place to snorkel. Saw lots of cool fish there also. Really like your pics. Bob:)

Wasn't it such a neat thing to see?! I am glad you'll got to go to it too! It's really cool to think you are looking at what use to be a real ship, but now a shipwreck that was meant to be! Glad you like all the photos, more to come!! :)

I can't wait to hear about your night cruise. That was one of my reasons for booking a Bermuda cruise - but I have since waffled about going on that cruise. So I'll be interested to see what you have to say about it.

I am just about to give all the details of it......and a couple....ha ha more like SEVERAL photos along the way!! You'll wouldn't know what to think if I only gave one picture huh!! :p

Don't worry, it was a WONDERFUL time on the night cruise! I'll get to all the details in a bit but it was really cool, especially to be able to come back and say, guess where we went???!! Over the Bermuda Triangle!! I love the looks on peoples face when I say that!! LOL Anyway, have no doubt, if you have already booked it, keep it, its a very fun & entertaining time!!

I'm loving this review! :D We sailed Pride this past May on the PC, Nassau and Freeport itinerary but now you've got me wanting to sail her again and see Bermuda! :)

Let me just say ---- Bermuda should be a must on everyone's list - its an awesome little oasis, in the middle of nowhere, literally!! There is so much to see and do there, I just wish we would have had 1 more day there, but then again in the time we had we are thrilled with the beauty of the island we got to see! Hope you get to go someday!:)

OMG please finish it. I leave on Sunday and want to know all about your cruise. thanks so much. we have not been to Bermuda in about 12 years and can not wait to see all the changes.

I'm working on it, and trust me, its quite time consuming doing it, so I am ready to get done with it. I am hoping to have if completely finished before the end of the week, so just in time before you leave! :)

Katie - Thank you so much for your review. I am taking this trip in about a month and am so grateful for your insight. I think it will definately take the edge off until I cruise.

You are so welcome!!! I have thoroughly enjoyed doing it!! It does, however, make me miss Bermuda, but it does refresh all the great memories we made! :)

A month, that will be here in no time, and I do hope all my insight has helped you! You've definetly got a great trip to look forward to!!

We *loved* going to the aquarium! The zoo part wasn't quite as entertaining, but still nice. Very enjoyable place to visit, and easily accessed by the bus system. Here's the link.

Thank you for posting the link to the BAMZ, we didn't go but hopefully next time we can hit it.

I cruised twice to Bermuda once on RCL's Nordic Prince and NCL's Majesty of the seas. On the Nordic we docked on front street Hamilton and on the Majesty we docked at both front street and St George.

That would be REALLY cool !!!!!....to be able to dock at 2 different places on the same trip!! Would save a lot of running around to the different sights!

Back to Fantasea's "Bermuda Triangle" Glass Bottom  Night Cruise!!! So we our tour was leaving at 8pm, we decided to leave the ship a little early and check things out on the way. We even had extra time to go by the Craft Market. Here we are by the ship before we headed for our night cruise:

Here is the same map I posted earlier in my review, but a much larger one:

Just so you can get a perspective, here (where Joe is pointing) is where we were docked, Kings Wharf Dockyard:

This has GOT to be the COOLEST scooter in Bermuda!!!:

DSC01895.jpg

Here is a picture of the boat we were on for our night tour. This picture was acutally taken from our ship balcony, so the ship looks really small, but trust me its not, it fits a lot of people on there!!:

DSC01945.jpg

As you can see in this picture, it was getting close to 8pm, sunset so we could head out on our night cruise!! So we were told to go down the dock to the ship and were pointed in the right direction. As we were walking there, we saw this, and yes I had to take a picture!, not me right??!! LOL:

DSC01898.jpg

So we are told which boat to get on. There were actually 3 boats doing this tour with the same company. I would estimate there to be 50 people on each boat.....and so 50 people x $60 p/person, anyway you get the idea, its no wonder the Rum Swizzles are free!!!

Ok, so here were are on the boat...waiting for all the boats to head out!:

DSC01900.jpg

.....and it was finally that time, we were heading out. Let me say, this was a very FUN tour. The guy, I can't remember his name but I did get his picture!, that did the commentating was hilarious! He made the trip fun! He gave us all sorts of info on Bermuda and the night life of Bermuda. Here was a funny one about the Bermuda Triangle......he said ok as most know the triangle goes from Bermuda, to FL, to Puerto Rico. He said who owns FL?....the US, who owns PR?......the US, then why is it not called the "US Triangle"??!! LOL anyway he was funny and again his humor on the trip made it a lot of fun! Since I am talking about him, here he is serving Rum Swizzles, will get into this in a bit!:

So after we boarded the ship, we were given all sort of details and information on Bermuda, and of course information on the Bermda Triangle with a lively and amusing commentary!! Once we got out into the Bermuda Triangle area, they have you go downstairs to the glass bottom section of the ship. They have a huge area of glass on the bottom and lights everywhere to show the bottom of the ocean floor. There were all kinds of fish floating by and even some lobster!! I couldn't get the lobster pics fast enough, but I did get some fish pictures. The boat was moving and so were the fish so it was difficult to get a "good" picture of them but to show you, here they are:

This tour was a neat view from a different perspective......and for those of you that do not like to snorkel I would highly recommend this tour!

After we left the Bermuda Triangle area, thankfully no one disapeared! they took us to the Vixen shipwreck again (we had already seen it snorkeling earlier) but we got to see glass bottom over that area too and it was neat, fish everywhere and you could actually see some of the hull of the ship. They brought bread to feed the fish and they were everywhere!!! I didn't take any pictures at this area since we had already seen it during the day but it was still neat to see at night!

So on the way back after a fun commentary of Bermuda life, history, and the triangle.....we got FREE Rum Swizzles, or just a coke if you would rather. They give you as many as you want! I think we had 3 each, they were very good!! I couldn't compare them to the ones at the actual Swizzle Inn, but I am sure they were close! Here we are with our drinks, cheers!!:

This tour lasted about 2 hours, so it was a little after 10pm when we got back to the ship, again we were tired so we called it a night after that. It was a great tour and the commentary made it even more fun! So we highly recommend Fantasea Bermuda for their tour!

An important detail I forgot to mention:

*The tour met right across from where the boat was docked. The picture we took with our ship in the background shows how close it is to the ship. So not much walking to get to and from.

So as I mentioned we were pretty tired from a long, fun-filled day, so we headed straight to the room, here was our towel animal:

Last night, after our Fantasea tour, I had planned to go shopping for everyone tomorrow in the dockyard area. Since we were to be back on the boat at 11am, I knew we wouldn't have much time to do anything else, so we felt that was a safe plan.

Well, let me just say aparantly we were really tired, because we didn't wake up until 10am!! I thought oh no, I gotta hurry and get ready to go get souveniers for everyone!! So after rushing in the shower and throwing some clothes on Joe said, you know you are probably cutting it too close. You have less than 45 minutes until 11am and you better be on time!!! So, I got concerned and said well I better not even go. So I didn't, but when we got back home I told everyone why I didn't get any souveniers, I told them be glad I didn't miss the boat!! So anyway they were all ok and understood thankfully!! So I promised them all extra soveniers on the next trip! :)

So we enjoyed a late breakfast and then came back to the balcony to see if there were any runners!!!.....and sure enough, there was!! No drunk ones but this guy ALMOST missed the boat. It was 11:30am, he was already 30 mninutes late, so he got lucky! Here he is running!!!:

DSC01946.jpg

As soon as he got on the boat, they took the railing down, and started to untie the boat.....this was the sad part....:(....we didn't want to leave! Here are some pics I took as we were getting ready to set sail back to Baltimore.

This is the area they call "Kings Wharf". The Norwegan Gem was in the area called "Heritage Wharf". Our buildings were pastel pink, theirs were pastel yellow.

As promised.....I ordered the chef specialty for the night. I don't remember the technical name for it, but it was a fish dish with maui maui and some special sauces. The note in the menu book said the chef had won an award for this dish, so I thought I would be brave and try it! Here it is:

DSC01990.jpg

Joe ordered something similar to a barbecue chicken, he said it was yummy, here it is:

So that was it for the evening! Joe went to the casino for a couple hours, and then we called it a night soon after.

Here was our towel monkey for the evening:
