Nassau things to do??

Any one have any great ideas or great beaches in the Nassau. We will only have from about 9-2. Not worth the $400 to go to Atlantis.

The Blue Lagoon looks quite nice. Ferry-boat ride to gorgeous beach.

If you want to go to Atlantis, there are taxis that will take you there for $4/pp each way. It is definitely worth going to see once.

I really have to disagree. If you only have a limited time in Nassau, and you don't want to pay for a day pass (or dont have enough time to enjoy it). I'd say PASS on "seeing" Atlantis. It's just a hotel. You can't see the grounds, beach, digs, lagoons, or pools with out a pass..so all you are doing is looking at a casino.

Why waste the few hours you have in Nassau.

 

Grab a jitney and head to the Sheraton Beach, or take a morning snorkeling tour with flyingcloud.info. Check out the ardastra zoo, or visit the slave museum and queens staircase.

There's a ton of activities to do while visiting nassau.

 

Visiting the lobby of a hotel is the last thing I would be doing while visiting paradise.

You could head over to Junkanoo Beach for a few hours. There is no charge to access and the water is great. it is about a 15-20 minute walk from the pier as well. Just past the British Colonial Hilton.

The Sheraton Cable Beach has a nice beach and pools. Its website has some good photos.

when you have limited time like the OP there really isnt time to do Blue Lagoon either.
