So I was very, very bad. THREE days before our daughter's wedding (with a cruise on the Splendor as a honeymoon), I was suffrering from cruise envy AND wanting a break for just me and DH AND not wanting to spend very much (duh).

 

So on the Wednesday before the Saturday wedding, I cruised by the Carnival website, found a sale, and booked a 5 day on the Triumph out of Galveston on October 24th for-get this-$279 per person, ocean view.
