frugaltravel Posted October 18, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 18, 2011 I see the price has gone up by $5 and IIRC the shipping cost is higher too.

donaldsc Posted October 18, 2011 #4 Share Posted October 18, 2011 You might also check out the Alaska TourSaver coupon book. We paid $100 for outs and I figure that we saved at least $700 using the coupons. We did a land trip - it might not be as good for a cruise trip. Italy52 Posted October 18, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted October 18, 2011 I see the price has gone up by $5 and IIRC the shipping cost is higher too. Did see that. Plus, there seems to be more limitations on some of the coupons. Unfortunately, we won't be able to realize any savings this year with the coupon book due to our itinerary. However, there are lots of deals to be had for others. :) Awaiting the November release of the TourSaver book to see if that will help us. AkSusan Posted October 19, 2011 #6 Share Posted October 19, 2011 I had a phone call about a week and a half ago that we can't get them on the 15th, but maybe the 22nd, but call first. So I'm still waiting to see what's in this year's book. Susan in Anchorage :)

AkSusan Posted October 20, 2011 #9 Share Posted October 20, 2011 If you dig deep it's on their website. I'm not really concerned about what is in there:D. I've been getting it since they've started the book and I always gotten my monies worth, usually through the restaurant coupons, since I live here. Though occasionally, do use some of the tour and activity ones too. Susan in Anchorage :)
AkSusan Posted October 20, 2011 #10 Share Posted October 20, 2011 Forgive me for hijacking this thread for a moment: Susan, enjoy your upcoming cruise --- wishing you calm seas and lots of memories. :) Karen Thanks Karen. No snow on the ground here yet, but it's about 3/4 down the surrounding mountains. I'm definitely ready for the Caribbean sun and beaches. See you're coming up again next year but doing a B2B out of Seward. One day you and Claudio will make it back to town and we can hit S&S again. My best to you & Claudio.
