I don't follow Rugby, but I was thrilled NZ won.

I somehow suspect that the result was not exactly what the Kiwis expected. One try and one goal each side.

 

As an Ozzie I was pleased that a southern hemisphere team won, but bravo the French, they played well, and contrary to my initial forecast, the match was a fine display of good rugby.

 

The real winner was the game itself

Actually Most kiwis were keenly aware that the French could NOT be taken lightly with the All Blacks having lost to them before.

 

And whilst we all hoped for a win, no-one really considered it in the bag.

 

Many people in NZ with less hair, weaker hearts and no nails after last night.
