How much money do you take on your cruise?

Well since we're talking on a 6 year old thread that was resurrected... We prepay our gratuities and excursions so we only need to tip our Uber driver, excursion operators, porters and room steward.. We typically take about $800 - $900 for an 8 day cruise.

Our next cruise is number 25. We rarely buy cheap touristy stuff from the ports anymore. I believe we have enough Tchotchkes that collect dust. So $100 per port. A couple of drinks, cab money, excursion tips and many a bottle of booze if it's a good deal.

i get free drinks in the casino. for gambling i bring around 2500 for 8 days on ave another 100$ per port. . so all around 3000$ cash. but if i run out i still gots my credit card :) whatever i buy on board i just pay later
