dfields1814 Posted January 29, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2012 You can buy alcohol at the pool but it will be charged to your cruise card. They won't take cash.

Not sure I understand your question since in order to purchase a drink on Celebrity, you need to show your cruise card and the amount is charged to your onboard account. It's exactly the same on Princess. If you're asking about a drink PACKAGE, Princess doesn't offer any but then the drink prices are a lot less on Princess than Celebrity. Maybe you meant alcohol beverage card. I can't tell from post. You can pre oreder a bottle of alcohol beverage to be in your room when you arrive. Nice. WARNING these bottles are 350 ml, smaller than a pint. Mix your cocktail in your room in your tumbler and you have beverage for the pool. or bingo, or the theater. DaisyandSika Posted January 29, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 29, 2012 I like to drink what I call "fru-fru fancy" drinks, pina coladas, margaritas, etc. What kind of prices can I expect to pay per drink?
Pam in CA Posted January 29, 2012 #6 Share Posted January 29, 2012 Probably $6-7/drink. A Bloody Mary costs between $6-8/drink, depending on the size. A martini is $7-9/drink, depending on your choice of vodka. Pretty reasonable.
paul929207 Posted January 29, 2012 #7 Share Posted January 29, 2012 There is a special for beer. I believe you pay for 5 and get 6.
