djwool Posted February 11, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2012 I searched but didn't find a clear answer. Do the room TV's on Eclipse have input jacks for mp3 players? Trying to decide whether to pack my standalone speakers. TIA

Adammara Posted February 11, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2012 There are a set of red/white/yellow av sockets and other connectors on the back, but I have no idea if they actually work! Richard

Chillaxn' Posted February 11, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 11, 2012 All the input/output jacks are disabled on the TVs. Phil Not exactly correct. One set of jacks is in use to allow a/v to come to your tv. Just bring a stereo to stereo cable. Unplug the audio input on the tv, which is a stereo jack on the back, then plug your mp3 player into that jack. You can then use the remote to control volume. I have done this on our last 4 cruises. There is no reason to carry speakers with you.

Fixit2010 Posted February 11, 2012 #7 Share Posted February 11, 2012 All the TVs on the ships are Samsung. Would have like to have been that sales guy, the entire fleet committed to Samsung.
